John Johnston is Professor of English and Comparative Literature at Emory University, where he teaches Modern and Contemporary Theory, Literature, Science, and Technology, Media Theory and Biopolitics.
He is the author of three books: Carnival of Repetition, Information Multiplicity, and The Allure of Machinic Life, and the editor of literature, media, information systems, a collection of essays by media theorist Friedrich Kittler. He is currently working on a book about techno-thrillers, science and politics.
